Welcome to my website!
I am a Ph.D. student in mechanical engineering at the Georgia Institute of Technology (Georgia Tech), working with the Bio-Interfaced Translational Nanoengineering (BITN) Group under the guidance of Dr. Woon-Hong Yeo.
My long-term research vision aims to develop interactive assistive agents that can seamlessly perceive, reason about, and react to human behavior and environmental context. To realize this vision, I integrate advances in human-machine interfaces (HMIs), artificial intelligence (AI), and robotics to bridge the digital and physical worlds.
My research is organized around two complementary thrusts. The first focuses on designing and fabricating soft wearable HMIs that integrate multimodal sensing, embedded computing, and closed-loop actuation, with an emphasis on on-device edge intelligence.
The second extends to multimodal learning and decision-making frameworks for human-machine interaction, enabling physically embodied agents to perceive human intent, perform cognitive reasoning, and execute adaptive sensorimotor control for applications in assistive robotics, extended reality (XR), and telehealth.
